Suzuki Violin and Viola Instruction: Offered for children ages 3 and older (2 year olds accepted for instruction after consultation with and by permission of Director). Parent participation in lessons and practice is mandatory for children under age of 12. Parents take notes in lessons and practice with their children each day at home. Lessons meet one day per week for 30, 45 or 60 minutes depending on student's age and level.

Group Lessons: Held Saturdays at Chapel Hill Bible Church, students solidify fundamental instrumental technique, ensemble skills and are introduced to music theory and history. Schedule 9am Pre-twinkle/Twinkle, 9am Early Suzuki Book 1, 9:45am Late Suzuki Book I, 9:45am Suzuki Book 2-3, 10:30am Autism, 11:15am Suzuki Book 4 and above.

Young Artists Program: Students working in the upper Suzuki Books (6-10) Enter into a more rigorous program of study which includes three octave major and minor scales, arpeggios, etudes, Solo Bach Sonatas, Partitas and show pieces. Upon completion of the Suzuki repertoire, students take a more active role in choosing their pieces. Post-Suzuki repertoire may be considered college preparation level and prepares students for undergraduate music study as either a music major or a member of the university orchestra.

Music Speaks Autism: For children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and/or Pervasive Developmental Disorders (PDD). This unique program is designed to meet the needs of children with autism through combining aspects of music therapy, Adaptive Behavioral Analysis (ABA), Treatment and Education of Autistic and related Communication-handicapped Children (TEACCH) and the Suzuki approach. This program recognizes and fosters the musical ability found in students with developmental disabilities and creates an environment that reinforces social and academic skills needed to function in society. Depending on the student, classes may be conducted in a group or individual setting.

Community Suzuki Summer: Summer lessons are held during June, July and August. Parents sign up for times compatible with their schedule and pay $30 per 30-minute lesson, $45 per 45-minute lesson and $60 per one-hour lesson. Included are group activities and play-in's approximately twice per month through out the summer. Community Suzuki Tour Group: Every year, Community Suzuki offers students the opportunity to perform on local and international tours. All levels are invited to participate and parents and siblings are welcome to attend with their Suzuki student.
